Detective Kelley's investigation identified the suspect and located this stolen bike. Gerald Stillwell was subsequently arrested and charged with Burglary, Dealing in Stolen Property, Giving False Information to a Pawn Shop, and Petit Theft.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a theft of a bicycle, pictured here, which occurred in the early evening hours on June 24, 2021 in the Bonnie Shores Drive area of unincorporated Lakeland.
The suspect took the victim’s bicycle from the carport. The bicycle is a blue Columbia 1937 woman’s bike with a tan seat and tan handle bars. There is also a dent in the rear tire fender.
